About Peco
Previously named Product Engineering Corporation, PECO was founded in 1938 by Ralph McGilvera. Since its inception, PECO has produced aluminum and zinc die castings.
In 1967, the company was purchased by Dean Schamp, Clyde Rushing, A.W. Michaelis and Ed Halberg.
The firm grew strongly through the late 1960s adding injection molding services and aerospace products to its core capabilities. In 1972, Sunne Controls became an integral part of PECO, offering temperature controls to the commercial cooking, agricultural and HVAC markets.
Today PECO is a diversified, modern corporation that retains the focus on customer service and engineering excellence that has helped it prosper for more than 65 years.
