Manual Changeover — Heat and cool operation is manually selected by the thermostat user

Automatic-changeover — Heat or cool operation is determined by thermostat, based on ambient temperature versus setpoint

Automatic 24-277V operation — the thermostat will accommodate any input voltage from 24V to 277V, eliminating the need for separate models

Setback control — an input that signals the thermostat to go into an unoccupied mode for energy saving purposes

Remote sensing — the thermostat can sense ambient conditions from a remote accessory probe, as opposed to the built-in ambient sensor

2-pipe/4-pipe support — Jumper selection of 2-pipe operation disables the secondary output and allows the main output to cool or heat depending on the pipe sensor input; while 4-pipe configuration operates both outputs

Terminal block connections — wiring to the thermostat is done by inserting stripped wire into a terminal block

Lead wire connections — wiring to the thermostat is done by splicing to wires that are pre-installed

Controlled off — When placed into the OFF position this thermostat will cycle on at the setback limits. This is a factory configuration.

Public area configuration — a thermostat mode, suitable for use in public areas, that inhibits many of the control and adjustment features

0-10VDC control output — one or more outputs from the thermostat designed directly control devices such as proportional valves

CE mark approval — designates compliance with Conformit— Europ—ene, the European regulatory standard

Three-wire floating control output — an output designed to directly control three-wire floating valves

Percentage ON timer — a control designed to switch ON for a percentage of a specified time interval

Adjustable differential — allows selection of a deadband where control action is delayed for a the specified number of degrees past the setpoint

Minimum ventilation control — a combination of setpoint and percentage ON control that enables the output continuously above the setpoint, and reverts to percentage ON below the setpoint

NEMA 4x — a standard of the National Electrical Manufacturer—s Association that specifies raintightness and corrosion resistance

Negative bias — a feature of the limiting control that provides for opening the contacts in the event of any failure
