As a responsible member of the community, PECO uses only fully OSHA-compliant processes. Our zero-discharge shop uses high volume, low pressure (HVLP) guns that reduce volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). Assembly Department top Download Assembly Data Sheet PECO's assembly department is fully equipped to handle both high and low volume projects. Climate-controlled rooms are available for those assemblies requiring temperature controlled manufacturing environments, along with a cure room and various robotics. Ultrasonic and vibration welders, automatic X-Y inserting fixtures, bonding fixtures, conveyors, and assembly turntables. Heat chambers for curing and stress relieving are also available. In addition to QA Central, PECO has five satellite QA offices spread throughout the plant. Quality control equipment includes two Brown and Sharpe coordinate measuring machines, two optical comparators and a multitude of gauging, weighing, testing and measurement tools and apparatus. PECO is compliant to AS 9100 / ISO 9001: 2000; all FAI Reports are completed per AS9102. All PECO owned and employee owned measurement equipment is calibrated per a preset schedule. Customer returned materials are physically segregated in a secured area away from conforming materials; line rejects are also secured, in a separate area. |
